Dick
Iis an electrical engineer who, over the years, evolved a interest in the psyche of society and philosophy. He wrote a book (The Fear Factor) about the effects of fear on society after observing the behaviour of people at work. After completing an Mphil in philosophy at UWI in Barbados he decided to sell his business and is now pursuing a PhD in philosophy Reading University. While locating buyers and negotiating the sale, Dick wrote a weekly social commentary newspaper article, became President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry and hosted radio talk shows. He enjoys sailing and hopes to have more time to enjoy that while he is doing his studies.
